Personalised Copper & Brass Dog ID Pet Tags

These metal dog ID tags are a humorous way of adding your contact details to your beloved pooch in the event of them becoming distracted, losing their inbuilt tracking device & getting lost.

You don't have to include the swear word! In the personalisation box on this page just type in the wording you would like. What you see on the top disc is the MAXIMUM that I can fit. So if you do change the wording please stick to the character amounts in the image. The bottom tag will contain contact details so leave me your phone number (& double check it is correct!). I highly recommend NOT having your pooches name on the tag.

Character allowance guidelines for the TOP disc -

Line 1 - 6 (including spaces & paw prints)

Line 2 - 10 (including punctuation & spaces)

Line 3 - 10 (including punctuation & spaces)

Line 4 - 6 (including punctuation & spaces)

Bottom disc - number only please.

There are a few very important factors to consider before purchasing!

• Because this is a layered design the two discs clank off one another. Providing your pooch doesn't mind the jingle jangle then you're good to go. However if they do, then you'd be better off with a single, thicker disc that can have the number on the reverse. (You will get slight reverse imprint due to hammering of the metal). I do have a separate listing for the single design.
• Depending on the collar style you may need to slide off the discs, attach the ring to the collar & then slide the discs back on. From experience this is easier when your wriggly pup isn't wearing said collar.
• I use copper & brass as it is a harder metal. Clanking against a food bowl, scratching, playing & generally being a dog will cause scratches & denting over time. (There is no guideline to timeframes as all dogs are different. Your dog may keep their tag for years, they may destroy it within 24 hours). 

 The blacking may wear away over time, the same conditions apply as above. However the stamped imprint will not vanish.

1. The layered metal tag sizes are -

Largest 25mm width x 1.2mm thickness (copper only)

Smallest 22mm width x 0.7mm thickness (copper OR brass)

2. The single copper tag -

25mm x 1.2mm

❤ What is hand stamping?

❤ Why aluminium? 

Aluminium is a wonderfully lightweight metal. It has the beauty of any other metal but it comes with bonus points; it is a fraction of the cost, beautifully lightweight & it is hypoallergenic so perfect if other metals make you a bit on the irritated side.

❤ Copper & brass will tarnish! This can be remedied with a slice of lemon & a clean cloth or traditional metal cleaner.
